"The Orange" podcast and onstage in Dutch

So last May, John Cameron Mitchell read my story "The Orange" on stage at Symphony Space as part of Selected Shorts. This is very exciting, although there is no truth to the rumors that a crossover sequel, Hedwig and the Angry Orange, is in the works.

I don't have a link for you because it hasn't appeared yet on their podcast, but! Apparently the producer of a very similar show in Holland was in the audience when it was read, and after some adventures he was able to contact me, and "The Orange", translated as "De Sinaasappel", was read at Theater Bouwkunde in the Netherlands by Dutch actor and writer Marcel Faber.

And, in keeping with my current theme of translations appearing before originals, I do have a link to that podcast! (It's also at iTunes).

Gelukkig luisteren!

EDIT: or rather, Veel luisterplezier!

Hi Ben,
The closing words of your blogpost are no vernacular Dutch. Of you’re looping for aan equivalent of “Happy listening”, “Veel luisterplezier” would be very adequate.
Regards, Pieter (the above mentioned producer)
