Myren Kongen spørger, hvorfor han ikke fik titlen fakturering i Danmark, og marker hans underjordiske hævn

Science Fiction Cirklen, the "oldest science fiction association in Denmark", has published Start uret, a Danish collection of my short stories, translated by Lise Andreasen. (The title means "Start the Clock" -- the convention in English would be to call it "Start the Clock and Other Stories", but not in Denmark, apparently).

The stories included are:

  • "The Ant King: A California Fairy Tale"
  • "Biographical Notes to 'A Discourse on the Nature of Causality, with Air-Planes,' by Benjamin Rosenbaum"
  • "Start the Clock"
  • "The Blow"
  • "Embracing-The-New"
  • "Falling"
  • from "Other Cities":
    • "Ylla's Choice"
    • "New(n) Pernch"
    • "Jouiselle-aux-Chantes"
  • "The Death Trap of Dr. Nefario"
  • "Stray" (with David Ackert)
  • "Droplet"
  • "Night Waking"
  • "Nine Alternate Alternate histories"

Interestingly the overlap with The Ant King and Other Stories is only eight out of the thirteen stories...

So, if you are still shopping for Jul presents for your Danish relatives, consider whether perhaps a little Start uret might be to their liking.
