"The Orange", coming soon to a small pixellated screen near you Nick Fox-Gieg is an artist and animator who makes awesome short films, like "I wanna be famous" (from a Jessica Delfino song), "The option of war", and "A good joke". (Those files are MP4s, which my browsers here were a little iffy about... I eventually got them to play by upgrading realplayer, opening them with that and fiddling with resizing. ) Anyway, he asked me quite a while ago if he could make a short film of "The Orange". I said sure. Recently I noted an interview with him, in which he says he's working on "The Orange". I can't wait to see it. (I'm also amused by Harper's magazine's taxonomy for "The Orange" -- it looks like they have all the content they've published since the nineteenth century online for subscribers, and "The Orange" is filed under "Orange" and "Providence and government of God".)
