Yet more writing announcements

I am eventually going to post something else here besides "oh check it out this is out now" and "oh check it out this got sold/reprinted/translated"...

• "Stray", a collaboration with David Ackert, has been picked for both Gardner Dozois' Year's Best Science Fiction and Rich Horton's Fantasy: The Best of the Year. We defy you, genre borders!

• I received my copy of the February 2008 Realms of Fantasy with "The King of the Djinn", another collaboration with David Ackert, in it. It looks quite lovely. However, upsettingly, they left David's name off the story. Argh! They've corrected it on their forums, but it's quite a bummer that it's not in the magazine itself. There's an advantage of web publication for you... :-/
