A test of Movable Type I'm trying out the Movable Type blogging system. In a way, it would be nice to have a simple system that let me journal much easier. On the other hand, I like the older interface a lot. After some twiddling, I believe I have got the best of both worlds. The interface looks more or less the same, but it's much easier to post entries this way. Movable Type is quite flexible, and very spiffy (although, of course, I would like its tag language to be a more complete programming language. They could at least have a general "if" tag). I have imported backdated entries from April and February from The Rumor Mill... click on "Prev" a few times to see them. Posted by benrosen at May 4, 2004 07:33 PM | Up to blogComments
Hey Ben, I understand you're reading about me. Posted by: Jos Musey at May 4, 2004 07:49 PMYep. Great book. Posted by: Benjamin Rosenbaum at May 4, 2004 07:49 PMThis is fun. Posted by: Tobias Buckell at May 5, 2004 01:12 PMBen-doll, seen any good action flicks yet? Posted by: law at May 5, 2004 05:32 PMI started "The Fifth Element", but it was excruciatingly goofy and I got really tired. And I've been fooling with this thing a lot. However, I'm definitely planning on more action flickage... Posted by: Benjamin Rosenbaum at May 5, 2004 05:57 PMOk, who the devil is posting as my boy?? That amuses me, kind of, if I knew who it was. :) Posted by: Karin at May 5, 2004 06:42 PMIt was me, Karin... I was testing the system, and he was in my head. :-) That's what you get for writing such a good book! ( cf. https://www.karinlowachee.com/warchild/ ) Posted by: Benjamin Rosenbaum at May 5, 2004 08:21 PMI finished watching "The Fifth Element" -- still very, very goofy, but it got pretty funny, particularly when the Prince parody character showed up. Posted by: Benjamin Rosenbaum at May 6, 2004 12:03 PMSpeaking of blogs, ben, do you have an RSS feed that I can plug into my bloglines subscription? Posted by: Levi at May 21, 2004 10:03 AM |
